Corporate Counsel will provide key legal services to a host of internal clients. If exposure to all levels of a company while working with broad ranges of professional disciplines intrigues you, this may be the opportunity you seek. This challenging position requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task a host of legal services while keeping your internal clients updated. Corporate Counsel will possess an ability to review and revise supplier, customer, consultant, IT, joint development, licensing and confidentiality agreements as in-house counsel. You will be responsible for risk mitigation in key areas such as products liability, corporate insurance, and litigation/discovery support. Depending on experience, within the IP Department you will coordinate with company inventors to draft patent applications and complete IP document submissions with outside counsel, including trademark filings. Additional areas of responsibility include oversight of the company's document retention schedules, requiring discipline and coordination throughout the organization's four locations. Superior proficiency with MS Office Suite is a must for internal communications.

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • 2-15 years law firm or in-house experience, preferably with a manufacturing company
  • Current bar registration
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline
