Your role in helping us shape the future:

Provide specific paralegal assistance in support of Intelsat’s minute books, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and corporate transactions, together with general paralegal support to the broader Legal function.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Maintain corporate minute books for all Intelsat S.A. US and non-US subsidiaries and other records as directed.
  • Coordinate audit cycles, compliance mechanisms, and annual board and shareholder meetings for Intelsat subsidiaries.
  • Lead annual corporate filing requirements to maintain good standing for all Intelsat subsidiaries.
  • Support due diligence process and major corporate and finance transactions, managing the online data site, coordinating due diligence compliance company-wide and assisting in closing of corporate and finance transactions.
  • Provide support to the legal team for corporate secretarial functions, including maintenance of Board and Board Committee files, minute books and D&O questionnaires and other information in the US and worldwide.
  • Provide support to the legal team for Section 16 filings of directors and executive officers.
  • Manage Intelsat patent and trademark portfolios and maintain database as directed, assisting in the filing and prosecution of patent applications in coordination with outside counsel, Intelsat staff, and IP attorneys.
  • Prepare documentation as directed by attorneys for SEC and other corporate matters.
  • Provide excellent word processing, drafting, proofreading and filing support as needed for correspondence, legal instruments, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Update Corporate Communications and other stakeholders on directors and officers for external website, company intranet, press releases, SEC filings and other communications
  • Perform other paralegal duties as directed by attorneys.


You should definitely have:

  • A 4-year degree and at least 3 years’ experience assisting attorneys with transactional and corporate legal work (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), word processing, Diligent BoardBook or other similar Board management software, database programs, web browsers, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to constantly produce accurate and precise work product.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently and under the direction of attorneys, with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to work occasional overtime to meet business needs.


It would be nice if you had:

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent training and experience in SEC and other federal regulatory/licensing filings.
  • Experience liaising with Board members, executives and their staff.
