Legal.io is working with an airline company to find a Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions to work on a 3-month project.

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities include but not limited to the below:

• Supporting on M&A transactions
• Provide a wide variety of support for various types of agreements including corporate finance, procurement, aircraft leasing, sales, sponsorships, construction and real estate
• Participate in special projects that support the team and their clients
• Assist with closings on major transactions (such as investment transactions, financings or large commercial real estate deals), including drafting closing/incumbency certificates, compiling exhibits, signature pages and due diligence responses
• Working on projects and performing legal research on various topics as assigned
• Developing, updating, and maintaining contract templates, forms, and guidelines
• Reviewing, revising, and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
• ·       master service agreements
• ·       sale agreements
• ·       purchase agreements
• ·       aircraft leases
• ·       amendments
• ·       releases
• ·       non-disclosure agreements
• ·       license agreements
• ·       real estate leases
• ·       statements of work
• ·       change orders
• ·       sponsorship agreements
• ·       bills of sale
• ·       and other agreements

Providing general support to the legal team to further department and company objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a paralegal
• Previous work on M&A transactions
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
• A strong work ethic, exceptional judgment, and uncompromising integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at an Airline or Aviation company

Role Details:

• Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
• Schedule: 40 hours per week for 3 months
• Pay Rate: $55/hr - $65/hr ($110,000 - $130,000)
• Location: NYC, NY - Remote
