We are looking for a General Counsel to join Snapcommerce’s growing team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a key member of the management team and play an important role in shaping the legal, product and policy strategies for our ever-growing business. You will lead the legal and compliance functions as well as provide day-to-day guidance on legal issues and risk mitigation strategies. The General Counsel will be responsible for building out the legal department, setting legal strategy, overseeing key deals and relationships, and serving as a partner throughout the organization.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is results-driven, execution focused and has a track record of managing and scaling the legal function in a fast-growth company. Someone who comes with a background as an attorney with strong business and strategic acumen who also has the ability to translate complex legal principles into practical and effective business solutions.
