Job Description

Workday is a fast growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company headquartered in the Bay area. We are looking for an outstanding lawyer with 5+ years of legal experience to join our expanding customer facing Go To Market (GTM) legal team.

The GTM Legal Counsel will serve as Workday’s new transactional counsel to support North America customer base sales for Workday’s newly acquired affiliate Peakon and liaise with the broader Workday legal team as we work aggressively to integrate Peakon into Workday. They will provide proactive strategic advice regarding business and legal issues and risks and train our North America customer base sales teams to support the innovative and rapidly growing employee engagement platform. Additionally, they will assist in implementing legal efficiencies to support and train the customer base business unit and improve our contract processes and operations in that segment, as well as help create and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks. The role involves working closely with GTM leadership and cross-functional teams (sales, services, product, marketing) to help drive alignment and implement integration strategy for North America sales.
