About the job

We're looking for an experienced Product Counsel with experience working in-house providing guidance directly to product teams, with a preference for someone that has worked on e-commerce marketplaces and/or consumer facing technology.

This role is with an incredibly "hot" tech company in Silicon Valley.

What you’ll do

• Support the rollout of an online marketplace as a Product Counsel
• Give direct guidance to product teams and coordinate with outside counsel
• Reviewing features and UI/UX, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to product team
• Coordinating review with international legal counsel
• Working directly with product managers and designers to provide and implement legal guidance
• Vendor agreements
• Bonus: someone with fintech/payments experience.

What we expect:

• JD and excellent academic credentials
• Member of a US bar in good standing, preferably CA
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including advising on consumer facing or marketplace products

Logistics:

• Location: Remote (West Coast Time Zone)
• Duration: 2 months
• Pay: $150/hr - $200/hr
