Job Description

Intel’s Ethics and Legal Compliance team (ELC) is hiring a Senior Compliance Attorney to assist in operationalizing Intel’s Global Human Rights Principles relating to product responsibility and driving key Ethics and Compliance program initiatives across Intel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This person will apply knowledge of and experience in implementing corporate compliance programming to provide business-minded solutions under Intel’s Code of Conduct and Global Human Rights Principles.

  • This person will conduct due diligence and report on third party human rights-related risks under Intel’s Global Human Rights Principles relating to Product Responsibility.

  • The individual will develop and maintain trackers and/or dashboards as well as report on the status of investigations, due diligence reviews, and the business impact of Intel’s Global Human Rights Principles relating to Product Responsibility.

  • The individual will collaborate and partner with other Intel functions, including Intel’s Corporate Responsibility Office, Sales & Marketing Legal, Business Legal, Legal Compliance Program Owners, Business Units, and other key stakeholders.

  • This person will drive certain of Intel’s Ethics program initiatives, including driving effective communications and training on ethics and compliance matters as well as monitoring and reporting on Intel’s culture of integrity and awareness of Intel’s reporting resources.

  • This individual will provide overall ethics and compliance program support.

Qualifications

Key Skills:

  • Mandarin language skills required.

  • Familiarity with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and an understanding of human rights legislation strongly preferred.

  • Candidates with in-house experience in implementing ethics & compliance programs or anticorruption compliance programs strongly preferred.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, including attorneys and non-attorneys, outside legal advisors, and business clients with little ego.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously under tight deadline pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent judgment, prioritization skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of small and large teams, and autonomously.

  • Humor and humility preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in corporate in-house compliance department, law firm, NGO, or government.

  • Juris Doctor degree and current state bar membership.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
