We currently have an opening for a Bankruptcy Paralegal/Legal Assistant position.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the research, preparation, and review (quality assurance and control) of legal pleadings for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.

  • Monitor cases through court dockets, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
  • Keep case management system and client communication systems updated with current status of cases.
  • Communicate with outside parties during entire bankruptcy process.
  • Perform quality assurance and control reviews of various bankruptcy documents prior to filing.

Qualifications:

  • Prior legal support or bankruptcy experience required.
  • Those who want a career in an exciting work environment, not just a job, and who understand the important role they play in the overall success of the business.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required. Paralegal Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to navigate and multi-task through multiple systems.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

The position is expected to work Monday through Friday, general business hours. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package.
