In-house legal advisor and negotiator for operations contracts entered into by Whole Foods Market.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to various operations business teams (both global and regional) with a focus on drafting and negotiating vendor agreements;
• Provide day-to-day support and legal guidance to internal business stakeholders;
• Support senior members of the WFM transactional legal team;
• Work with internal business stakeholders to establish, draft and implement processes and procedures as it pertains to operations in Whole Foods Market stores and distribution facilities;
• Support multiple internal global and regional business teams by analyzing, drafting, interpreting and negotiating agreements in areas such as human resources, service suppliers, equipment vendors, independent contractors, events, product procurement, payments processing, NDAs, etc.;
• Work with internal clients on establishing and using form agreements;
• Research legal issues posed by internal clients;
• Counsel internal clients regarding legal compliance and minimizing Company risk; and
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Doctorate of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school
• Seven years minimum experience in-house or with a law firm
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiations
