Legal.io is working with a top social media company to hire a Team Coordinator for the Employment Counsel team for a 7-month, contract assignment. 40hrs/week.

In partnership with the Employment Legal team, this role will be responsible for supporting the Employment Counsel team with workstream support for a wide range of workstreams, including the Employment Counsel team’s various training initiatives, organization and support for team tools and templates, team resources organization, and stakeholder coordination, among other responsibilities.  

The right candidate is passionate about employment law - a well-organized, creative and smart problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes unstructured environment with broad responsibility. This role will help solve challenging legal issues and shape responsive business strategies, working proactively and with people in teams throughout the organization, including partners in the People, Sales, Corporate Development, Finance, Tax and Stock Administration teams. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • This role will focus on assisting the Employment Counsel team with administrative support and backend coordination of (1) Leader Law School reboot (Q3), (2) organization of team resources and playbook materials, (3) assistance with Q4/Q1 intensive workstreams including Project Canary, Pay Transparency; (4) development of global 2022 roadmaps; (5) development of HR and Company trainings arising from employment law/risk mitigation; (6) scheduling and other administrative assistance. Other responsibilities include: 
  • Develop and maintain case management system and metrics tracking for Employment Counsel team
  • Support learning initiatives including material preparation, logistical facilitation of trainings and other administrative aspects of Leader Law School, Recruiting Navigator, and other team-directed trainings 
  • Create, compile and maintain internal Employment Legal resources for the team, including creation of playbooks and centralized repository for team resources
  • Set up and help build-out and maintain Employment Legal files, template libraries, and record-keeping system

Required Qualifications:

  • You have 2-4+ years of relevant experience
  • You have strong management skills, excellent business judgment and are extremely detail-oriented
  • You have excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously under pressure and time constraints
  • You have exceptional communication and writing skills
  • You are able to collaborate with global, multicultural, cross-functional teams of stakeholders 
  • You are patient, determined, flexible, and open-minded
  • You are a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at a high growth tech company

Role Details:

  • Anticipated Start Date: November 1, 2021
  • Schedule: 40hrs/week, 7 months
  • Pay Rate: $40/hr - $50/hr
  • Location: Remote - UNITED STATES
