We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to become a part of our Nella Invest team! You will provide overall support to our commercial business needs.

Job Summary:

The Leasing and Contracts Administrator is responsible for property management functions ranging from lease document development to collaboration with landlords and internal stakeholders to ensure that the company's interests are protected, while maintaining compliance with agreed upon terms. In addition to property management functions, this position also maintains responsibility for facilitating the administrative requirements associated to acquisitions and sales, as well as the review and handling of contract documents. This position requires an acute attention to detail; an ability to manage multiple competing properties; a collaborative work ethic; and a unquestionable commitment to maintain confidentiality.

Job Details:

  • Communication with relevant parties on all Company contracts, independently conducting research when applicable and coordinating with relevant parties for timely and accurate execution of such documents
  • Timely coordination with internal stakeholders regarding property-related matters such as lessor/lease obligations, term of interest for specific properties, cost and revenue allocations, etc.
  • Understanding of the goals, purpose, intent and implications of contracts and the contract negotiation process - conducting independent research as-needed to enhance understanding
  • Contracts management: Consistent, thorough and accurate review of Company contracts, including purchase/sale agreements, business entity documents, real estate transaction documents, and lease-related documents
  • Maintain high level of organization with a high volume of complex information and multiple projects
  • Maintain and effectively utilize property management software (Prolease) to facilitate lease compliance, timely communications, accounting automation of A/P and A/R functions, and accounting compliance exports
  • Assimilate new information and apply to existing work product
  • Maintain consistent track record of success with multiple priorities and projects involving collection of requisite information
  • Maintain perspective of Company’s long-term strategies and culture
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Bachelors Degree (B.A) or three to five years related experience

Other Skills:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to assess abstract concepts and challenges and communicate effectively with internal and external guests.
