We're working with an exciting consumer fintech company to place a Data Privacy Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role is on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.

What you’ll do:

• Build processes for responding to GDPR, CCPA, FCRA 609(e), and PIPEDA requests and for handling sensitive member escalations
• Respond to subpoena requests and regulatory complaints
• Compile metrics for analysis and presentation
• Organize and manage the documentation of key compliance processes across the company, building and cultivating positive working relationships across teams
• Scope the necessary preventative and detective controls to mitigate compliance risk, detailing the requirements and managing implementation
• Partner with relevant partners on remediation approaches and timeframes on identified issues, assigning ownership and tracking to completion

What we expect:

• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other Data Privacy regulations
• Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Strong project management skills

Logistics:

• Location: Charlotte, NC - but remote during COVID
• Duration: 6 months
• Start: Mid-October
• Pay: $40/hr - $45/hr
