Legal.io is working with a downtown NYC based law firm to find their next junior-mid level corporate associate. The corporate associate will work on wide range of corporate matters and industries and will be highly visible to and active with clients. The attorney will handle financings, M&A, IP, real estate transactions, and day-to-day clients' legal needs.

What You’ll Do:

The focus will be on corporate associate functions but experience will be gained in all of the following areas:

• Corporate Finance
• Fund Formation
• M&A
• IP
• Real Estate Transactions
• Corporate Governance
• Securities

Who You Are:

• A collaborative personality and eagerness to build a clientele of his or her own
• Someone with he ability and temperament to work simultaneously on multiple matters with multiple partners
• Who is able to provide, and interest in improving, legal counsel to clients that emphasizes a practical approach to assisting business decisions and driving business outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of prior law firm experience
• JD
• NY State bar membership, active and in good standing

Role Details:

• Full time, direct hire

• Salary commensurate with experience level
