Legal.io is working with a SaaS company hire a commercial counsel for a 6 month, contract assignment.
In this role you'll be drafting, redlining, reviewing, and negotiating inbound vendor agreements.
Job Responsibilities:
- This is a 6-month assignment, backfill for a parental leave.
- You will be part of a 3 person commercial team, and you will be responsible for drafting, redlining, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, specifically inbound vendor agreements.
- Contract Types: SaaS agreements, professional services, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, consulting agreements, facilities agreements, etc
- There are many contract renewals
- This role is dealing with medium-complexity contracts
- This role is high volume - you'll be reviewing a large amount of medium-complexity contracts
- Experience with data privacy and DPAs is a huge bonus
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial counsel experience
- 3+ years of in-house experience
- License to practice in any US jurisdiction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DPAs / data privacy
- Experience at a high growth tech company
Role Details:
- Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
- Schedule: 40hrs/week, 6 months
- Pay Rate: $70/hr - $90/hr
- Location: REMOTE - US
