Join us as an attorney supporting one of the world’s leading structured finance franchises. As part of our General Counsel team, you will provide legal support to Credit Suisse’s Securitized Products business. You will represent Credit Suisse on residential mortgage related securitization and financing transactions while advising on the ’33 and ’34 Act, Investment Company Act, Volcker Rule, and federal and state consumer privacy matters. This role involves coordination with external counsel in the review of various transaction documentation, including underwriting agreements, opinions of external counsel, engagement letters and offering materials. In addition, you will provide legal advisory support for a specific corporate initiative related to residential mortgage loans. You will partner with internal functions, such as compliance, credit, tax and corporate secretary, to provide coordinated support to business-side personnel.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for an applicant who possesses proven experience of at least 6 years’ at a law firm and/or investment bank

  • Expertise in a range of securitization asset classes, particularly residential mortgages
  • Ability to optimally balance multiple complex transactions and projects with defined timeframes
  • Ability to advise senior bankers, traders and capital markets professionals on a broad variety of topics
  • Admitted to the NY bar
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
