Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team full-time!

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues. Responsibilities

The Contracting and Licensing Paralegal is responsible for general Contracting & Licensing operations, to include, but not limited to, review of vendor contract, policy, and procedure updates, use of Compliance 360 Contract software, use of Verity Stream credentialing/license tracking, local, state, and federal licensing applications/renewals and assists in preparation of state audits.

Core Job Duties
  • Responsible for general vendor contract review and revisions.
  • Responsible for tracking and renewal of local, state and federal licensure.
  • Maintaining & updating contract data in Compliance 360 software.
  • Maintaining & updating licensing data in Verity Stream software.
  • Organization, maintenance and follow up of regulatory facility audits.
  • All other duties and / or tasks as requested.
Qualifications

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Advanced Recovery Systems requires all employees who work in any facility or office to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.
  • 4-year degree in Paralegal Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Paralegal work.
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare industry or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Computer literacy and knowledgeable in formatting, editing (redline) word documents.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
  • Position is currently an on-site position with the ability to work remotely, as needed.
