Role Summary

This attorney will join the Anheuser-Busch Legal team to advise clients throughout the company on a wide variety of Intellectual Property matters. It will be essential that you possess a deep desire to learn and grow professionally, are enthusiastic about our brands and projects, and proactively find solutions to complex problems while ensuring that we never take shortcuts.

Since this positions’ reach spans across all areas of the business and interacts with senior leadership, it is critical that you take a collaborative approach to your work, have strong communication skills and present with confidence.

Job Responsibilities

• Counsel and advise clients on legal implications relative to Intellectual Property law and enforcement of Intellectual Property rights.
• Supervise outside counsel in litigating Intellectual Property disputes and in protecting the company's Intellectual Property rights and interests (primarily US TM, patent matters to a lesser extent).
• Conduct trademark search and clearance and advertising review.
• Manage patent portfolio and assist with protection of new innovations.
• Assist with due diligence on new acquisitions.
• Local candidates preferred. No relocation provided.

Job Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Member of the Missouri Bar or willing to seek admission.
• Minimum of three years Intellectual Property experience
• Litigation experience required
• Strong background in trademark clearance, prosecution, and Intellectual Property litigation.
• Experience in patent matters a plus, but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills.
