As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will provide legal guidance—advising, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating—client and supplier agreements with and for Cerner clients. You will also provide legal guidance on contracting models and draft contracts for new business initiatives. Another core component of your role will be to partner with the business and advise on effective strategies to reduce risk throughout Cerner.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications :

• At least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
• 1 year legal work experience in a law firm or corporate environment
• 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the job, including:
• Juris Doctor (LLB) or equivalent, relevant work experience

Expectations :

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
