Position Description:

Oversee all employment-related disputes and litigations; collaborate with, and provide strategic advice to, Human Resources on employment policies and practices; manage outside counsel on employment matters.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 8-10 years practicing employment law at a law firm or in-house
  • Deep knowledge of federal and California employment laws
  • Experience as first or second-chair in employment litigations, preferably in federal or California state court as well as in arbitrations
  • Experience investigating claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation and mediating employment-related disputes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to move quickly to provide timely and practical advice
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple business lines
