Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury

As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing complex attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. Starting your role from home, you’ll be provided virtual training and onboarding. You’ll eventually transition into a hybrid in-office schedule where work from home days are possible, when we are ready to open our offices.
Duties & responsibilities
- Determines coverage and liability
- Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
- Settle claims and set reserves
- Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
- Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
- Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of one year of claims handling experience or experience in the insurance industry
- Instead of the above, a combined minimum of five years higher education and work experience, at least one of which must be in claims handling or the insurance industry
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance

Compensation
- $48,900 - $65,200 annually
- Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
