Tessera Data is looking for a driven and experienced Paralegal with contract management experience to join our dynamic legal team.

The Paralegal will work closely with our legal team to support multiple projects across departments. We are looking for a self-starting problem-solver who can work both collaboratively and autonomously and roll up his or her sleeves when necessary to get the job done.

What you will do:

Work with the best people.

Contracts:

Coordinate all aspects of contract management, including development and maintenance of a contracts database and a contract tracking system. Routing documents for signature using DocuSign.
Assist with improving standard form agreements and scaling contract management processes.
Assist with reviewing NDAs, vendor agreements, and commercial agreements with an understanding of when to escalate to an attorney.
Assist the legal team in all aspects of transactional work, including assisting with redlines, password protecting documents, and other related tasks.

Compliance and other:

Assist with preparing and filing certain documents with governmental agencies, such as the Secretary of State, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Transportation, and court systems in various states.
Assist with legal research .
Assist with maintaining and improving processes and workflows that can scale to keep up with our fast growth.

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or paralegal certificate.
Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in-house or at a large law firm.
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with superior organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to complete tasks accurately, on schedule, and with minimal supervision.
Experience with DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
Experience with contract management software preferred
Flexibility and willingness to learn and work on a broad variety of legal matters with enthusiasm.
