About the role:
Provide legal support for the Neuromodulation business, as well as specified corporate projects/areas.



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advise business unit senior leadership team, functional managers and other employees on legal issues relating to the Company, business unit and business objectives
  • Provide legal advice and service concerning the Company's business transactions, including preparation, review and negotiation of agreements and contracts
  • Assist with establishing and monitoring compliance with Company policies and applicable US legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate in management of litigation related matters.
  • Review promotional and sales training/support materials within the PSST process.
  • Keep current on relevant legislative issues, statutes, decisions, and regulations of the FDA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Train members of business unit on legal/compliance matters.
  • Establish and model a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System and related regulations.
  • Work collaboratively and lead and influence in a matrixed environment
  • Act as the Legal liaison for other Legal SME’s on complex issues requiring input and consultation for advising the business
  • Participate as requested in NM due diligence and integration activities
  • May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.

What we're looking for in you:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate required.
  • At least 8 years of corporate/healthcare law firm experience or relevant in-house experience.
  • Previous healthcare, regulatory and/or reimbursement experience a plus.
  • Previous experience with technology development teams and developing the legal framework for innovative technology solutions.
  • Effective written and oral communication abilities.
  • Makes sound strategic decisions based on analysis and judgement that enhance the business and stand the test of time.
  • Possesses strong skills in relationship building and collaboration.
  • Ability and willingness to travel one to two weeks per quarter.
