About the Team

The LCCA Legal Operations team supports all things business operations for the Legal department as well as our business partners. We are responsible for critical initiatives, process improvements, and interfacing on cross functional projects. We act as problem solvers and help the legal team scale to support all areas the team supports.

About the Role

We are looking to hire a generalist legal operations resource to manage how we handle and improve a variety of areas in the legal department. This role will be responsible to work cross functionally, coordinate, communicate, monitor and drive initiatives to completion. This is a high impact and visibility role with a great deal of cross functional work. The responsibilities are a unique combination of program management, process improvement, as well as someone with very strong communication skills and experience working with senior management.

About You

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree or above.
  • 5+ years of proven experience

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is a dedicated and enthusiastic teammate that has a sense of humor and lives and embodies Workday’s core values, and has a desire to help others succeed, and the ability to quietly assess when and where to act as needed.
  • Expertise with collaboration/project management tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, Trello, Workboard and Confluence) and LumApps is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and analytical problem solver
  • Clear and effective presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with process definition and continuous improvement
  • Effective meeting management and relentless follow through on action items
  • Software industry experience ideally with cloud based, Software as a service (SaaS) applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Innovative, creative and open minded
  • Ability to propose well thought out solutions to problems
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of partners and audiences
  • Ability to multi task and support multiple programs and projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across a wide variety of functions to drive effective outcomes and earn trust, with a particular focus on working with data science teams
  • Interpersonal skills tailored to audiences with different perspectives; with a specific focus on aligning data science and risk functions
  • Experience with project management and with consensus-building
  • Experience operating independently and executing at the strategic and operational level
  • Experience educating & influencing product and technology teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
