The Corporate Counsel, Real Estate role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and processing leases and related documents, including required notices, renewals, expansions and term extension documents. Also, creates draft leases and amendments and other agreements based upon proformas received from the Real Estate Group that outline the business deals approved by the Real Estate Committee.

1. Draft, review and negotiate contracts and leases related to real estate matters.
2. Effectively manage internal and external business relationships.
3. Counsel the Company on general business matters.
4. Develop and implement Company policies and procedures.
5. Anticipate and minimize potential legal risks.
6. Address other legal projects as requested by management.

1. Juris Doctorate degree required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
3. Ability to work cooperatively with the Company’s management, real estate group, attorneys and staff, as well as, outside professional advisors and vendors.
4. Ability to keep Company proprietary information confidential required.
5. General computer and electronic research experience.
6. Excellent problem solving skills and business judgment required.
7. Admitted to the bar and in good standing in Ohio, or admitted to the bar and in good standing in another state and eligible for admission on motion in Ohio.
