Summary:
Manages the Company’s day-to-day contracts process for all agreements, including, in particular, a high volume of clinical trial agreements. Works closely with stakeholders to facilitate the contracts process. Provides support to attorneys in legal department as requested. The ideal candidate will have strong contracts management experience, is highly organized, a team player, detail-oriented and works quickly and efficiently.
Job Description:

  • Manages the contracts process of a high-volume of agreements, particularly clinical trial agreements, including coordinating internal review and communicating with stakeholders.
  • This position will be responsible for the contracts request system and the contracts database, tracking contracts from intake to execution and timely archiving all contracts.
  • Depending on experience level, assist with the drafting, negotiation, and execution of routine agreements.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding contracts.
  • As the Company grows, this position will assist in identifying areas for operational improvement and will support the development, implementation, and administration of systems for the legal department.
  • Maintains corporate legal records, including state filings and subsidiary corporate filings.
  • Assists in general corporate legal work as assigned and agreed upon.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of contracts administration experience in a high-volume contracts environment required. Prior experience in life sciences is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to independently understand contracts and other legal documents. Knowledge of contract structure and ability to identify specific contractual provisions.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Experience with contracts management databases preferred.
  • Experience working with attorneys required.
  • Demonstrated experience proactively managing a large number of contracts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with all internal and external partners and stakeholders.
