Title: Assistant Attorney General

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for our Multi-County Grand Jury Unit.

Position Summary

The Multi-County Grand Jury Unit investigates and prosecutes a variety of cases including public corruption, complex white-collar crimes, homicides and narcotics violations. The unit also administers all aspects of the Multi-County Grand Jury. The successful candidate will have outstanding legal judgment and be able to effectively and professionally research, prepare, analyze and understand complex information and legal issues. The successful candidate must maintain the integrity of the Attorney General's Office as well as the confidentiality of information as required by the Oklahoma Attorney General.

Qualifications

Licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. Excellent research, writing and advocacy skills are required. Preference may be given for prior supervisory and prosecution experience.

All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a thorough background investigation by the Office of Attorney General.
