Position: Attorney
Salary: $61,953.12 - $81,915.44 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Attorney will support staff across Kansas Child Welfare programs and services in pursuit of the organization’s mission of safer and healthier communities. The Attorney will work collaboratively with other leaders across various departments and programs within the organization to ensure positive interface in support of the organization’s mission and priorities, specifically in guiding work as it relates to legal responsibilities in working to achieve permanency for children and families served through the foster care, reintegration and adoption grant. The Attorney will be responsible for positive community collaboration to develop/maintain community partnerships on behalf of Cornerstones of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an Advanced/Master’s degree as Juris Doctorate in KS with 3-5 years of experience providing legal services within the child welfare system. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
