Workday’s Corporate Legal team supports Workday’s US-based and international entities, facilitates securities filings and compliance with securities laws, and partners across Workday to help Workday thrive. The support our team provides enables Workday to conduct its business, supports Workday’s growth, and helps Workday connect with its investors, employees, and communities.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is perfect for anyone looking to expand their international experience, build partnerships with a variety of teams, and find creative ways to problem solve. As a member of the corporate paralegal team, you’ll provide support for our expanding corporate practice including:

  • A focus on corporate governance activities for our international subsidiaries, including board support, annual statutory filings, and ongoing compliance matters, as well as subsidiary formations and dissolutions
  • Maintaining internal databases with subsidiary details and statutory documents
  • Working with local counsel to draft various corporate documents, including minutes, unanimous written consents, powers of attorney, director and address changes, as well as facilitating notarizations, legalizations, and company seals
  • Partnering with Accounting, Payroll, Procurement, Real Estate, Sales, Tax, Treasury, and other Workday teams to provide corporate data for ultimate beneficial owner forms, anti-money laundering forms, Know Your Customer forms, RFPs, tax returns, audits, and other requests
  • Supporting other corporate legal team matters, which may include stock matters, ventures and M&A activity, and assisting with Workday, Inc. Board of Directors matters
  • Managing the Corporate Legal team’s access to various software and subscriptions and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors
  • Helping to create and maintain scalable processes, internal team sites, FAQs, and self-service tools to support Workday’s growth
  • Responsibilities may change with time and evolve based on abilities, interest, and team needs

About You


  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant global entity management experience, preferably at a high-growth, global company
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (ie. Paralegal certificate)


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technically savvy; proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google products (Drive, Docs, Sheets, File Stream, etc.); SmartSheets and Diligent Entities experience is a plus
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, problem-solver
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interface with internal managers and employees at all levels as well as senior-level external parties; position requires a high degree of tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a great sense of humor and humility
