Legal.io is working with a publicly traded, fintech company to hire a Corporate Paralegal for a remote, 3-month contract position.

What You’ll Do:

• State reg qualifications
• SEC filings
• Manage state registration and qualification filings.
• Send documents for execution over DocuSign and assemble fully executed documents.
• Assist with foreign subsidiary incorporation and management tasks (e.g., assembling and sending documents to local counsel).
• Saving documents to Box and retrieving documents.
• Operating the Company's Diligent platform for communicating with our board of directors, including uploading and processing consents, minutes, questionnaires and other communications.
• Assist with D&O questionnaires
• Assist with SEC periodic filings and proxy statements
• Familiarity with Section 16 filings preparation and filings a plus
• Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K

Who You Are:

• Experienced legal professional with a track record of supporting in-house teams in a fast paced, tech centric environment
• Demonstrates outstanding judgment and makes consistent good decisions for the company and our team members.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Corporate Paralegal
• Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience working on an in-house legal team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tools: Mac, G Suite, Word, Slack, Docusign CLM, Jira
• Previous experience at a technology company

Role Details:

• Location: REMOTE
• Duration: 3 months
• Start: ASAP
• Rate: $50/hr - $70/hr
