Legal.io is working with a non-profit focused on scientific discovery in the fields of neurobiology, pharmacology, genetics, and neuroscience to hire a remote Transactions Attorney for a 2 month, on call flex project, to review agreements during leave coverage. This position would be from February 21 - May 31, 2022. The ideal candidate is an experienced solo practitioner that has the availability to take on this client while Legal.io will handle all of the administrative tasks (timesheet approval, billing, collections and payment).

What You’ll Do:

• Someone is familiar with scientific space
• MTA’s, NDA’s, Service Agreements, Rarely a finance agreement
• Capable of fast turnaround time for agreements

Who You Are:

• Experienced legal professional familiar with biomedical space
• Demonstrates outstanding judgment and makes consistent good decisions for the company and team members
• Able to juggle this clients demands with your existing client workload

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a transactional attorney or direct relatable experience
• Active bar license in good standing

Role Details:

• Flex assignment, up to 20 hours per week
• February 21 - May 31, 2022
• Location: REMOTE
• Rate: $100-$150 per hour based on experience and background
