Legal.io is working with a top consumer fintech company to hire a legal operations program manager for a 3-month contract. This is a remote position.

What You’ll Do:

This is a generalist legal operations role.

As a Legal Operations Program Analyst, you will be an active contributor to the legal operations team by ensuring that the legal department is set up operationally to succeed through close coordination across all teams and standardized processes for efficient execution.

This role will develop playbooks and processes, generate reports, design and implement data-driven strategies to control costs, forecast resource and budget needs, and monitor internal and external resource performance.

• Review law firm invoices, including audits for data accuracy, adherence of billing guidelines, and financial controls;
• Facilitate end-to-end onboarding of vendors used by Legal, including but not limited to facilitating the third-party risk process, following progress on agreements, and providing payment details;
• Support the monthly accruals process;
• Own matter creation and organization in our eBilling system (Legal Tracker);
• Act as primary contact to provide clarity or resolve issues for invoice, payment, and matter questions (internal and external);
• Execute analysis and operationalization projects as needed.

Who You Are:

• Experienced legal operations professional with a track record of supporting in-house teams
• Demonstrates outstanding judgment and makes consistent good decisions for the company and our team members.
• Communicates clearly and empathetically both face-to-face and in writing.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of total experience
• 1+ years of in-house experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience at a fast growing, technology company
• Experience with JIRA or LegalTracker

Role Details:

• Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
• Duration: 3 months
• Schedule: 40hrs/week
• Pay Rate: $30/hr - $40/hr
