The Position

Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live event business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct company and industry-specific research projects across various subjects across multiple states (including liquor laws, marketing compliance, ADA)
  • Reduce legal researcg to written memorandum
  • Draft various documents at attorneys’ requests
  • Support smaller projects as requested by the attorneys
  • Proof certain documents and submit them to attorneys for review
  • Participate as requested in project and event meetings and maintain meeting logs
  • Provide support to Legal administrative assistant as requested
  • Track pending or current local and state legislation and industry trends that may affect company’s business

Learning Objectives

  • Legal Research across various subjects and state laws
  • Drafting entry level legal documents
  • Analyzing complex business issues
  • Organizing research into legal memorandum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
  • Junior or Senior standing
  • Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
