We are looking for a knowledgeable Immigration Specialist who is able to provide exceptional support to employees, candidates, and other internal partners. You will ensure that our immigration program runs efficiently and scales with our organization while maintaining compliance with immigration law.

You will…

  • Provide immigration advising and oversee document preparation for CPT, OPT, and STEM OPT beneficiaries and their dependents, including initial document issuance and communication
  • Handle record-keeping and reporting requirements by ensuring maintenance of SEVIS and OIS database records
  • Serve as the intake coordinator for incoming document requests and processing for H-1Bs, PERM Applications, Form I-140s, and Form I-485s
  • Create and maintain a compliant and organized filing system for immigration-related documentation
  • Ensure service delivery exceeds expectations
  • Manage on-going employee inquiries and escalations as needed
  • Partner with our People Team and external counsel to continuously improve our internal processes and immigration program

You have...

  • Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4+ years of US immigration experience
  • Legal background
  • Excellent program and project management skills
  • Proven track record to learn fast and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically in challenging situations, anticipating and resolving issues
  • Passion for providing a supportive, empathetic experience to Duos in the immigration process 
  • The ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA

Exceptional candidates will have...

  • Work experience in a law firm, within an in-house legal department, or with international students in a University setting
  • Experience studying and/or working internationally, or personal experience with immigration processes is a plus.
