Legal.io is working with a leading fintech company to find a remote commercial counsel to join their legal team for a full time, 3 month, contract engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Reviewing and negotiating contract terms for the Commercial business team

Reviewing vendor agreements

Generally support the Commercial team

Required Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.

A minimum of 4+ years of in-house or combined in-house/law firm experience negotiating complex software as a service (SAAS) and Professional Services agreements.

Personable, driven, and able to effectively work with others

Good communication skills and articulate

Preferred Qualifications:

Finserve experience is a plus

Role Details:

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately

Schedule: 40hrs/week, 3 months

Location: Remote

Compensation: $80/hr - $110/hr (depending on experience)
