Legal.io is working with a well-known tech company who is seeking detail and goal-oriented, German speaking Trust & Safety professional to join their Legal Policy team. In this position you'll to help keep the legal process and operations organized and on track. You will focus on content removal requests from Europe, particularly Germany and France. This is a 6 Month, fully remote, contract position (All states except Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana).

What You’ll Do / Who You Are:

Handle global content removal requests, including document intake and processing.

Work closely with Legal Policy team members in Ireland and the US on prioritizing requests and making the team's operations more consistent.

Join on an on-call rotation, working closely with other members of Legal Policy to provide timely responses to emergency requests from all over the world.

Experience in reviewing, documenting, and tracking legal requests, especially requests under Germany's NEA/NetzDG and France's LCEN laws is preferred. You will be responsible for supporting your team in making sure requests are processed and tracked in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Experienced with content review in a social media setting and can review high volumes of cases on a daily basis

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years in Trust & Safety role at tech company, or as a paralegal, or equivalent experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience

Proficient German speaker (knowledge of French and/or Spanish beneficial, but not required)

Role Details:

6 Month Contract (September 2022 - March 2022)

Hours: 40hrs/week

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour (equivalent to $75,000 - $80,000 annually)

Start Date: September 2022
