Legal.io is working with a leading home services company to hire a remote Commercial Counsel.

This is a remote, contract position that is full time (40 hours per week) scheduled for a term of 6 months.

What You’ll Do:

Commercial contract review

Identifying, analyzing, and handling legal, regulatory and contractual issues relating to home services

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in tech transactions.

J.D. degree

Membership in at least one state bar

Regulatory background with service contracts or relevant insurance products and/or the Real Estate Settlement Practices Act (RESPA)

Analytical and detailed-oriented mindset, coupled with a strong consumer protection, compliance and contract interpretation background or demonstrated skill set

Role Details:

Duration: 6 month contract

Hours: 40hrs/week

Start Date: September 2022
