Location of this position can be in NYC/Charlotte/Atlanta/(Hybrid).

We represent a global financial services company looking to hire an attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their Technology & Sourcing Legal Team to support to the firm’s CIOs and the global technology organization, and to all business units, on a wide range of technology. Among other topics, this department provides primary legal coverage in the areas of Cloud, Technology Transactions, Outsourcing, Telecom, SaaS and Licensing Agreements. In This Role You Will: • Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of technology agreements, including software development, licensing and maintenance agreements, application hosting agreements, cloud services agreements, telecommunications services, and hardware leasing and purchase agreements • Draft and negotiate agreements for procurement of other goods and services including professional and consulting services, technology and business process outsourcing, and other information technology-related services Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney required with 3 solid years of advising and negotiating on technology transactions for a global multinational financial services company, or in a law firm (law firm experience preferred) • Experience drafting and negotiating complex global technology agreements, e.g. software licensing/support, software as a service, outsourcing, cloud, consulting, professional and other services agreements • Familiarity with cybersecurity, technology controls, information security, data privacy and protection, and data management
