Your Impact

The Corporate Paralegal is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented and focused individual to provide disciplined execution on a variety of legal topics. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and support a small, but mighty team. Additionally, this Corporate Paralegal will assist in critical compliance, governance, and ESG initiatives for a global company.

  • Provide corporate support for the creation and operation of corporate subsidiaries around the world, which may include formations, dissolutions, drafting of governing documents, and state/jurisdictional filings.
  • Organize and maintain corporate minute books, records, and files.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers in corporate secretarial and subsidiary management matters.
  • Provide support for Anaplan’s ambitious environmental initiatives. Actively work with the team to respond to ESG questionnaires from clients, vendors, or partners.
  • Assist with corporate governance functions and with Board, Committee, and shareholder meetings, regulatory filings, and related documentation.
  • Support our governance process, including in the preparation and review of D&O questionnaires.
  • Respond to KYC and similar requests for internal and external partners.
  • Support the administration of our Code of Ethics, whistleblower hotline, and other policies and programs.
  • Support strategic transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, closing mechanics, and post-closing integration and administration of acquired companies.
  • Help develop, implement, and continually improve policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with our Finance, Accounting, Tax, and HR teams.
  • Provide project management support/work on other team, department, and cross-functional projects and priorities as needed.
  • Assist with a variety of other requests to support the legal team as may arise from time to time, including legal research, contract review, and compliance-related initiatives.

 

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of prior experience as a corporate paralegal, through either a law firm serving technology companies or in-house at a technology company.
  • Associate degree or higher and paralegal certification.
  • Previous roles that emphasized project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with designing and implementing scalable, cross-functional processes for an evolving company.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of international legal systems, including EMEA, APAC, and Canada.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Investigative mind and strong research skills.
  • Working knowledge of legal database software.
  • Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.

 

Base Salary Range:
 
$97,000$132,000 USD
