We are actively seeking a Real Estate Finance Attorney with direct experience providing counsel on extensive knowledge of real estate finance and lending practices. This is a remote near-term opportunity with our client!

We are actively seeking Real Estate Finance Attorney attorneys located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance law, with a strong focus on lending practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac refinancing and construction loans.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.
  • Experience with title and survey review.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local real estate finance regulations.
  • Familiarity with environmental and zoning regulations pertaining to real estate finance, preferred.
  • JD Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our client with the following:

  • Provide expert legal advice on real estate finance matters, including structuring and negotiating financing arrangements for various real estate transactions.
  • Oversee and manage the legal aspects of real estate finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of financing documents, including loan agreements, mortgages, and security agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and compliant with applicable laws.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate finance transactions, identifying potential legal risks and ensuring all necessary legal requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to real estate finance, including lending laws and financial regulations.
  • Work closely with clients, lenders, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of real estate finance transactions.
