The Compliance Vendor Analyst serves as a trusted partner to internal and external clients by ensuring that they have appropriate processes and methods to effectively comply with applicable laws, federal and state regulations, and internal policies, thereby reducing the companies’ risk and exposure to potential losses. This position is critical for managing risks associated with outsourcing and partnerships, especially in highly regulated sectors. This role will be responsible for researching, developing, and performing compliance testing based on client, regulatory and internal requirements while including analysis of records, reports, regulations and operating procedures and practices. This role will remain remote.

What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

• Provide corresponding reporting for Operations and Clients
• Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders to communicate compliance requirements and expectations.
• Update vendor compliance programs to reflect new legal requirements and internal policy changes.
• Analyze records, reports, regulations and operating practices and issues reports on regulatory control adherence.
• Responsible for the performance of quantitative and qualitative research to further support test findings, including root cause analysis.
• Review business controls, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in and lead vendor meetings where regulatory controls are reviewed.
• Create reports and trending analysis and presents final review findings to Operations.
• Communicate regulatory issues to Operations to ensure process compliance and adherence.
• Participate on special projects and targeted testing as required.
• Perform testing for new systems and systems controls.
• Conduct quality compliance reviews on peers.
• Conduct associate training.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive work experience in operational compliance or audit experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing data analysis and improvement tools
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through working cross-functionally, influencing others, making timely decisions while considering needed trade-offs, negotiating conflicts, as needed.
• Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities and priorities to meet organizational goals.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing colleagues across business functions and geographies.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Green Belt training or experience with structured process improvement skills
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive execution and meet stated deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment.
• Possess advanced analytical, data management, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to use MS Excel to enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, format charts, filter dates, and create basic formulas for data trending.
• Ability to use MS Word for basic formatting, editing, and printing function and understands the document page set up.
• Able to implement a review, collect and verify review evidence, assist with preparation of preliminary and final reports, and write work papers to summarize findings.
• Demonstrated problem resolution skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance governing the mortgage, insurance and/or financial services (is a plus)

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

This position requires incumbents to regularly sit at a desk and operate standard office equipment such as a computer and phone. Employee is occasionally required to stand and walk, lift, carry and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Pay Range

$53,700.00 - $89,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
