Compensation

$50,000 - $150,000 yearly

Responsibilities

  • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
  • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
  • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
  • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
  • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence

Qualifications

  • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
  • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
