Roles
Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the New York, NY office for a non-partnership track litigation associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of litigation experience particularly in the aerospace, aviation, and insurance industries. This is a full-time position but affords a more predictable work schedule than a traditional associate position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience with aviation or complex products liability.
- Experience with airport premises liability.
- Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
Visual Acuity
- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Compensation & Benefits
- The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position $145,000 - $165,000 in New York.
