Responsibilities
*Must be based in the DC Metro Area
- Responsible and accountable for the delivery of compliant and compelling responses to Federal and State government proposals, RFIs, sources sought, and contracts
- Primary POC (direct and/or via account team) for all customer and partner proposal and contract deliverables
- With support from Legal and Finance, supports all partner work including NDA, teaming agreements, and subcontracts
- Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual and proactive review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
- Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc., to internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for documentation and implementation of proposals and contract processes across all internal and external stakeholders
- Identifies and mitigates risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
- Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance
- Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for the engagement
- Actively involved and leads all Contract Management initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance or other related field or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years’ government proposal and contract management experience, federal contracting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) credentials are preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented – attention to detail is crucial in this role.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures with conformance to the prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions received from government entities, employees, managers, clients, and the general public.
Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $108,800 - $180,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
