Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a senior associate to join its rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the New York office. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm. Candidates must also have stellar academic credentials and references, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, math and Excel skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. NY bar admission is required. This position may be filled in New York City. In accordance with the New York City Human Rights Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $365,000 - $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
