Executive Legal Secretary

The Atlanta Office is seeking a talented Executive Legal Secretary to provide legal and administrative support to attorneys across multiple practice groups.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of experience as a legal secretary with E-Filing experience, have a positive attitude and willingness to help others, and possess superior judgment and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and e-mail
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports, check requests, client invoices, and time entry, as requested
- E-filing in the State and Federal courts
- Maintaining and managing client files
- Maintaining attorneys' calendar and scheduling appointments
- Initiating communication and responding to client inquiries
- Coordinating client meetings, travel arrangements (domestic and international) and conferences
- Performing general administrative tasks of filing, mailing, answering phone calls and greeting clients
- Working cooperatively with staff, paralegals and lawyers
- Maintaining proficiency with office procedures and staying current with Firm technology
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or at least three years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in a law firm or other appropriate comparable experience
- Ability to type, read and write in order to proofread and perform initial input and revisions to legal documents, correspondence, memoranda and email
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Litigation and e-filing experience
- Must possess a high level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent client service.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and use good judgment in order to meet deadlines
- Good working knowledge of document management system (iManage)
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Basic technological and research skills.
