The Seattle Office of BakerHostetler is seeking to hire associates with 3-4 years’ experience to join its Litigation Practice Group. The candidate would be part of the Firm’s ongoing representation of major corporate clients in all types of complex commercial, securities, and employment litigation. Many of the matters involve the defense of class actions. This opportunity is ideal for those individuals who wish to further their careers in a supportive, collegial and entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications Include

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Superior drafting and research skills;
  • A strong academic record;
  • AmLaw 100 law firm experience;
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Washington state; and
  • Must be a team player and a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes and/or qualifications:

  • Post law school graduation experience as a federal or state court trial or appellate judicial clerk for a minimum of one year.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $235,000 - $270,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance and hours-based bonus program. BakerHostetler offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program including group health, dental and vision insurance, vacation (20 days), paid holidays (10 days), 401(k) plan, parental leave (10 weeks, not including disability, where applicable, and accrued vacation), family care program, wellness program, life and accident insurance, and short and long-term disability.
