About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking an Assistant General Counsel in Legal as part of the Enterprise Complaints and Remediations section in the Chief Operating Office division of the Legal department. You will be joining a growing team of legal professionals responsible for providing legal support to the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence ("COE") in connection with individual remediations, regulatory initiatives, and other regulatory matters. You will also be responsible for collaborating effectively with other COE stakeholders throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will join a team of attorneys and professionals who are responsible for providing legal support to ECMO programs and senior leaders regarding high-risk regulatory matters, legal and regulatory risks associated with program design, and coordination of legal support for individual complaints across the Legal Department. This role requires substantial knowledge of a broad range of financial products, associated regulations, and an understanding of regulatory trends in the industry .
