This employment and litigation will partner with our business to provide practical and actionable support. This position would focus on reviewing background checks, managing EEOC charges and litigation, responding to subpoenas, managing discovery searches, along with compliance with state/local laws.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Review and decision background checks, including responsibility for process improvement and monitoring legislative activity in this space.
Compliance with state/local laws in the employment space.
Respond to subpoenas and legal notices and also manage discovery searches.
Collaborate and manage relationship with outside counsel to provide seamless support to our business team on EEOC charges and litigation, including alignment of counsel support to meet internal deadlines, prioritization, and risk analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced Degree - Juris Doctor
1-3 years of experience
Experience in reviewing background checks and managing litigation.
