About this Role

The Claims Specialist position is responsible for oversight of both litigated and non-litigated insured claims, specifically Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability, General Liability and Property throughout the U.S and internationally.

 

What You'll Do

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:

  • Manage third-party administrator and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Field and address operating unit on-going questions and issues related to claim evaluations and resolutions.
  • Verify insurance reserves are properly established.
  • Analyze reserve proposals and verify reserves are properly established.
  • Facilitate claim reviews and advise on diverse claim issues.
  • Collaborate with claim team members to identify value-added claim projects including research/development and implementation of RTW and medical management programs and evaluation of new products.
  • Oversight of claims with the governmental entities providing Quanta Services workers’ compensation in State Fund states.
  • Contribute to continued improvement of claim management policies and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Proficiency with claim management RMIS systems, both TPA and internal
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office Programs, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint

 

What You'll Bring

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Insurance; Insurance designations
  • 3+ years relevant experience

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in an insurance company or construction company in a Claims role.
