Description

We are looking for a legal assistant to support our growing and evolving Alexa voice service, the brain behind our Echo family of devices and the many other products that enable access to Alexa. As a legal assistant, you will provide administrative and legal support to Amazon's legal department and its business partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars and scheduling events
  • Coordinate contracts approvals, signatures, and filings
  • Perform reviews of marketing content
  • Help with benchmarking products and services
  • Identify and execute on legal and business-facing process improvements
  • Analyze, draft, and negotiate standard form contracts
  • Effectively use and manage software and tools used by the legal department and teaching others how to use these tools

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional or military experience
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks
  • Experience in a technology company or other legal experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $92,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
